Miguel always knew he was meant to be an actor.

Before graduating high school, he originated the role of the romantic lead in Stephen Karam’s musical Emma, an adaptation of the Jane Austen classic. He studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London for a semester while pursuing a degree in Anthropology from Vassar College. Although he loves writing about culture and history, he’d rather make it.

After graduating from Columbia University School of the Arts’ Graduate Acting Program in 2024, he originated the lead character in the  Premiere of Con by Jake Shore at the Brooklyn Art Haus in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, about a college professor who loses his mind to a conspiracy theory.

He loves to play complex characters that push the boundaries of convention. From playing the psychopathic son of an empress in Titus Andronicus while studying at RADA, to originating the role of a soldier fleeing the fall of the Confederacy and his Brazilian great-great-grandson in Os Confederados by Andy Boyd, to the British heartthrob Septimus in Arcadia, he loves to play characters you hate to root for and characters you never want to let go of.

During his time studying graduate acting at Columbia University, he spent his time outside of the classroom studying playwriting with graduate playwriting faculty, Leslie Ayvazian and David Henry Hwang.

He lives in Los Angeles, CA.
